Great performance software for the Mini Cooper S (R) is now available from GIAC. Months of dyno testing at both GIAC and HelixMinisports have produced a software product that yields significantly higher HP and torque gains when compared to factory offerings. The factory Mini Cooper S (R) software was surgically remapped for pump fuel (91-93 octane [R+M/2] minimum) on vehicles fitted with a 15% reduction pulley. Knock activity and air/fuel at full load have been carefully monitored with our integral Motec A/F meter. The result is a crisper throttle response and a car that now pulls harder to a new rev limiter (increased by about 200 RPM) and increased speed limiter. Modified versions are in the works for the 17/19% reduction pulleys and race fuel (100+ octane) programming. As with nearly all new GIAC products, Mini Cooper S (R) software applications are Flashloader compatible (i.e. soldering is not required). |
