GIAC releases performance software for the 2008 Bentley ® Continental ® GT and Flying Spur ®
GIAC has a strong track record of offering the highest performance and most options for the Continental GT and Flying Spur of any software company in the market. The 2008 Bentley models are no exception. As far as we know, we are the first tuner to offer software compatible with the latest factory security revisions.
The 2008 Bentley® CGT's come equipped with new security for their engine control units. GIAC designed new encryption and switching options to accommodate the new internal revisions. We are also the first to offer full "U"-Select switching options for the 2008 Continental GT and Flying Spur. GIAC "U"-Select lets the user select any combination of options as long as it includes the basic pump gas performance program. Other options include stock performance mode, race gas performance mode, kill/no start mode, valet mode (no full throttle available), and privacy firewall to lock out all other Flashloader Hand-held devices. As with earlier model years the pump gas performance programming increases power output by approximately 100 horsepower and 120 ft-lbs of torque over stock. The race gas mode will increase power by approximately 150 horsepower and 150 ft-lbs of torque over stock. Complex in design and full of value for the customer, the GIAC system includes:
- OBD port flashing for reliable and trouble free installation.
- Software encryption to hide GIAC proprietary calibrations from competitive interests.
- Switching on the fly to a host of different performance settings.
