Rebel Rock Racing takes 3rd at VIR in GIAC calibrated Porsche 997...
Congratulations to drivers Martin Barkey and Kyle Marcelli and the entire Rebel Rock team for their third place finish in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge at Virginia International Raceway. In their number 08 GIAC calibrated Porsche 997, Barkey and Marcelli battled hard for lead contention though out the race. Unfortunately, an overheating issue in the final laps, caused by debris kicked up into the radiator, put in jeopardy the likelihood of any podium finish. Marcelli however managed engine temps with short shifts, and fought to stay in the top three for the remainder of the race.
