GIAC software for Macan GTS applications are now available!
GIAC performance calibrations are now available for the Porsche Macan GTS (30L V6 twin turbo engine). This program is designed to optimize power and torque using 91-93 octane and no other hardware upgrades. Basic upgrades like the sport exhaust are also supported. Power delivery and drivability are both smooth and responsive. On 91 octane fuel, gains are as high as 65 HP and 101 ft lbs of torque at the wheels in some areas of the power band. Peak engine gains are estimated at 38 horsepower and 119 ft. /lbs. of torque at over stock, on the same 91 octane fuel.
Notable features include the following:
- properly recalibrated air/fuel ratios,
- improved throttle response for a drive-by-cable system feel,
- optimized torque control for smoother, faster shifting.
The graphs below plot horsepower and torque for a 2016 Porsche Macan GTS. The engine horsepower and torque graphs are estimated from wheel dyno tests on a Mustang MD500SE dynamometer using a correction value of 1.92. A wheel dyno comparison is also included.

IPB Autosport for working with us on their 2016 Macan GTS. GIAC is still the only company that can program these new high security DMEs. In fact, the 95B906022B Simos SDI10.2 DMEs found in the Macan S / GTS / Turbo prompted GIAC’s development of an entirely new proprietary flashing protocol for this product line. These ECUs can be flashed in the car through the OBD port for software installation.
