GIAC Wins K04 Dyno Competition

On, July 13, 2013, K04 powered MK6 GLI dyno competition results were posted on the Golf MkVI forum. Customers with similarly modified K04s and off the shelf tunes from common domestic software tuners faced off at Gulf Coast Motorworks in Bonita Springs, Florida. The goal of the organizer, a non GIAC customer named "FLTrooper", was a "100% non-bias test" of available software options on the same dyno, on the same day, with 93 octane tuning. Last minute custom tuning attempts by a couple of the competitors were discouraged by the community and the off the shelf tunes were allowed to speak for themselves.
